Hostinger is a Lithuanian web hosting company founded in 2004 in Kaunas, originally under the name Hosting Media. The Hostinger brand itself launched in 2011 alongside its proprietary hPanel control panel. The company has grown into a widely recognized hosting provider, serving clients across more than 150 countries and employing a distributed team in dozens of countries.

The product lineup spans shared hosting, WordPress hosting, cloud hosting, WooCommerce hosting, business email, and KVM-based VPS. The VPS tier runs on AMD EPYC processors with NVMe SSD storage, includes 1 Gbps network connectivity, and provides metered bandwidth allocations that scale with each plan. Hostinger positions its VPS offering as "AI-managed," reflecting a heavy investment in its AI assistant Kodee, which can handle server health monitoring, security configuration, and backup management through conversational prompts. The underlying VPS is still self-administered — users are responsible for their own software stack and server configuration.
