1. What This Site Is

VPS Host Review publishes editorial content and user-submitted reviews of VPS hosting providers. We are not a hosting company. We do not sell, resell, or provision hosting services of any kind.

Some links on this site may generate affiliate commissions when you follow them and make a purchase. This is disclosed in our footer on every page and does not influence editorial content, review scores, or rankings in any way.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old — or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater — to create an account and submit reviews. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement. Accounts found to belong to minors will be terminated without notice.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or use.

Your display name must not impersonate another person, brand, or organization — including the staff or representatives of any hosting provider. We reserve the right to suspend or permanently close accounts that violate these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are acting against the interests of the community.

4. User-Submitted Reviews

4.1 Submission Rules

You may submit one review per hosting provider. Across all providers, you may submit at most one review per seven-day rolling period. Reviews must be based on your own genuine, first-hand experience with the provider being reviewed. Submitting a review on behalf of another person, or for a provider you have not personally used, is a violation of these Terms.

4.2 Our Rights Over Review Content

By submitting a review, you grant VPS Host Review a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, display, modify, and distribute your review content in connection with operating this site and any related channels.

We reserve the right to edit, reject, withhold, or remove any review at any time, for any reason, with or without prior notice. That said, authentic customer feedback is the foundation this site is built on. We have no interest in distorting what honest reviewers have to say. In practice, we limit intervention to content that is abusive, demonstrably false, legally problematic, or otherwise violates these Terms. We will not edit or suppress a review simply because a hosting provider dislikes its conclusions.

4.3 Prohibited Review Content

Reviews must not contain any of the following:

• Personal attacks, threats, or harassment directed at individuals
• Defamatory, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading statements
• Personally identifiable information about third parties (names, contact details, account numbers)
• Content that was paid for, incentivized, or provided in exchange for compensation, without explicit disclosure
• Text copied from another source without the original author's permission
• Advertising, promotional material, or links inserted for commercial gain

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use this site for any of the following:

• Illegal activity. Do not use this site to plan, facilitate, or carry out any act that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation. This includes, but is not limited to, fraud, identity theft, unauthorized access to computer systems, and intellectual property infringement.
• Fake or coordinated reviews. Do not submit reviews that do not reflect your genuine experience. Do not create multiple accounts to post reviews for the same provider, and do not coordinate with others — including hosting providers themselves — to mass-submit reviews intended to artificially inflate or damage a provider's reputation.
• Impersonation. Do not represent yourself as another person, company, or organization, or falsely imply any affiliation or endorsement.
• Automated scraping. Do not use bots, crawlers, or automated scripts to extract data from this site in a manner that goes beyond what is explicitly permitted by our robots.txt.
• Service interference. Do not attempt to disrupt, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to this site, its servers, or any systems or networks connected to it.
• Spam. Do not use any part of the site — including the review system, account profiles, or any contact mechanism — to distribute unsolicited commercial messages or promotions.
• Circumventing controls. Do not attempt to bypass submission limits, rate controls, or any other measures put in place to protect the integrity of the review system.
• Commercial data exploitation. Do not reproduce, aggregate, resell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit data sourced from this site — including review scores, provider rankings, benchmark results, or any portion of our database — in any commercial product, service, publication, or dataset without our express prior written consent.

Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, a permanent ban, and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all editorial content on VPS Host Review — including written articles, the scoring methodology, page designs, and graphics — is the property of VPS Host Review or its contributors and is protected under applicable copyright law. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute this content without prior written permission.

User-submitted reviews remain the intellectual property of the reviewer. By submitting a review you grant us the license described in section 4.2.

Our review dataset — including aggregate ratings, provider rankings, benchmark results, and the structured data derived from user submissions — is a proprietary asset built through significant editorial and technical investment. You may not reproduce, compile, sublicense, sell, or otherwise leverage this data, in whole or in part, for any commercial purpose, competitive product, or third-party publication without our express prior written consent. Academic or non-commercial research use may be permitted on request; contact us to inquire.

7. Privacy and Your Data

We collect the information you provide when you register and submit reviews: your display name, email address, and review content. We use this data to operate the site, send account-related communications (such as email verification and password resets), and improve the platform.

At the time these Terms were published, we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or email address with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We intend to keep it that way. That said, we reserve the right to update this practice in the future. If we ever change how we handle your data in a material way, we will revise the effective date of these Terms and update our Privacy Policy. Continued use of the site after any such change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Third-Party Links and Affiliate Disclosure

This site contains links to third-party websites, including the official sites of hosting providers we review. We are not responsible for the content, availability, accuracy, or privacy practices of those sites. Visiting a third-party site is at your own risk.

Some outbound links may earn us affiliate commissions paid by hosting providers when you click through and make a purchase. These commercial relationships have no influence over review scores, editorial rankings, or any assessment we publish. Our scoring model is documented publicly on our Scoring Methodology page.

9. Disclaimers

VPS Host Review is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We make no representation that:

• Review content is accurate, complete, or current
• The site will be continuously available or free of errors
• Any particular hosting provider will meet your needs based on content published here

Reviews reflect the individual experiences and opinions of their authors at a specific point in time. Hosting providers regularly change their products, pricing, support quality, and terms of service. Verify current details directly with any provider before making a purchasing decision.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VPS Host Review, its owners, operators, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or from any content published here, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms or from your use of the site will not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim — which in most cases is zero.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VPS Host Review, its operators, and its contributors from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and legal fees (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of this site in violation of these Terms
• Any content you submit, including reviews and account information
• Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The "Effective date" at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the site after a revision means you accept the updated Terms.
