InterServer is a United States-based hosting provider co-founded in 1999 by Mike Lavrik and John Quaglieri in Secaucus, New Jersey. What began as a single domain and a reseller account built by two high school students has grown into a company that owns and operates its own datacenter facilities and serves customers ranging from individual freelancers to Fortune 500 companies. The product lineup spans shared web hosting, cloud VPS, dedicated servers, colocation, reseller hosting, and private email hosting. The network runs on a 100Gbps Ethernet mesh connected to multiple Tier 1 backbone providers, with BGPv4 intelligent routing that directs traffic through the fastest available path. Hardware is SuperMicro server-grade equipment housed in tier 3 and tier 4 facilities with redundant power, cooling, and network infrastructure. A self-healing system monitors nodes and automatically migrates workloads away from hardware showing signs of trouble.

VPS plans are unmanaged by default, suited to developers and system administrators comfortable with command-line environments. Managed support becomes available at eight slices or higher, covering security patches, failed service diagnosis, and control panel issues. All billing is month-to-month with no long-term contracts required, though VPS plans do not carry a trial period or money-back guarantee. Support is available around the clock via live chat, ticket system, and phone.
